Dr Anisha Parambi

MBBS, FRANZCOG

I am Australian trained, with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery  and a Bachelor of Medical Sciences from the University of Melbourne, Australia. I completed my specialist Obstetric and Gynaecology training with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists. I have practiced in major cities across Australia including Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. This has added to my depth of experience and understanding of expert level care.

As an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist I provide personalised considered care for women. I believe all women should be able to access care that suits their social circumstances and lifestyle with minimal compromise. This is a high bar to set, but necessary to get the best patient outcomes. It is achieved by an open dialogue, listening and building trusting relationships through mutual respect.

I moved to Nairobi in 2021. I work in both the public and private health sector. My work at Kenyatta National Hospital contextualised my learning about women’s health in Nairobi. I continue to be involved with the public sector as a clinician, researcher and educator as I believe it is an important way to give back to the medical community and remain updated in my practise.

I also see women within a private clinic for both general and complex obstetric and gynaecological conditions.
